Stone-Jong game

Stone-Jong

Genre: board / mah jong

Game review

Stone-Jong turns the classic mahjong formula upside-down with its unusual gameplay — it reminds the domino game, only the stones have pictures, not dots. The game has 2 modes that don’t differ much: one side solitaire and two side solitaire. In the first one you’re go match stones in one pile, while in the second mode there are two piles. You’re to drag the matching stones from gameplay area to stones pile (piles).

Unfortunately, Stone-Jong is not one of those games that are impossible to lose. It might happen that there are no more moves left and the game field is not cleared yet. In that case you may either re-shuffle or use the stone deck. In the one side mode the stone from the deck will substitute the card in the pile, and in the two side mode the stones from the deck will be laid in front of you — you may use them to match the piles.

Being a solitaire, the Stone-Jong wouldn’t meet the players’ expectations without Jokers that are matching to any stone, and locked stones, that can be unlocked by matching the stone with the key. Download Stone-Jong, it will keep your mind sharp!
