Pirate Poppers, set amongst island-themed 17th century locations, adds the ability to collect valuable treasure in each of the levels. Better, the game lets players catch falling power-ups, each of which gives you a temporary power such as the ability to freeze the chain so it stops moving for a few seconds or an explosive cannonball that blows up a bunch of balls at once. You can also swap the cannonball with the one that follows it by clicking the right-mouse button.
So, if you don’t want the purple cannonball, for example, you can swap it for the red one if that’s what you need first. Pirate Poppers is one of those rare games that you think you’ll play for five minutes but realize it’s been two hours before you know it.
For a buccaneer brain bender, challenge yourself with Puzzle mode where you must use cunning and craftiness to win the game with a limited number of cannonballs.
