Game review

Your step father has died and left the kingdom to your evil step brother, Lord Boras. However, if you earn 300,000 gold coins in 80 days, you can kick out Lord Boras and take the castle for yourself. Unfortunately, the prospect is not optimistic. You’ll have to work on the farm called Grimm’s Hatchery: feed and protect the pets, collect and sell eggs.

As for the Grimm’s Hatchery’s gameplay, there might be two ways of looking at it. On the one hand, it’s too simple, and one might quickly get bored of the same actions, repeated over and over. But then, on the other hand, it’s a kind of strategy. After each day you have to see how much gain you have left, and whether you need more pets. Besides, you need to decide whether to sell all the eggs or try to hatch them. The hatching kettle is also a very unpredictable gadget. Not all the eggs hatch successfully — some get rotten. In other words, you may loose them.

In Grimm’s Hatchery game you can populate a farm with pets on 3 difficulty levels: easy, medium and insane! Each mode has its unique ending (download the game to see how the story ends). And while the music can be switched off, you won’t manage to get rid of sound effects. Raise magical pets and save your kingdom!
